In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, the Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal, provided some succor to the afflicted, especially the poor and needy, by way of distributing dry ration kits (consisting of Rice, Dal, Salt, Edible Oil, Soya Nuggets, etc.) and also the hygiene kits (consisting of Bathing Soap, Washing Powder, etc.), to meet their most pressing needs in those critical times.

Starting from 20 April to 02 June, 2020 we have been able to serve 4145 underprivileged families, benefitting 18949 individuals, from various ethnic backgrounds, covering 46 Villages/Leikais across 5 districts, namely Bishnupur, Imphal West, Kakching, Kangpokpi and Ukhrul, providing 17000 kgs rice, 4020 kgs dal, 2273 litres edible oil, 400 Kgs of Salt & 1000 Kgs of Soya Nuggets, 7534 bars of soap, 3767 pkts of washing powder and 1218 toothpastes, at the overall expenditure of more than Rs.15 lakhs rupees.
